This is my DT card for this challenge:

I used Surfer Kody as my image for this card.

So into the citrus colors right now so I used oranges, lime green and lemon yellows.  They are great for fun summer  cards for boys.  Kody is outlined in yellow so it looks like he was standing in the sunlight.  His hair had to be sun bleached blond because he spends so much time in the sun.

Paper Playtime's summer challenge

Hello Everyone!  Yes it is time for another Digi Monday at Paper Playtime! This monday's challenge is to create something the means summer to you.

I was given three sponsor images to create with for this challenge!  I really had fun with these images and here are the cards I created using them:

Pink Cat Studio image -  I used Hula Lily

Love Love the Hula Lily image!  She really is the perfect summer image. Don't you think?  Now I want to go to Hawaii and participate in a real Luau, eat great food, and watch the Hula dancers.  Can't you just hear the Hula song in your head?  Well I can... LOL

This image is just adorable and I think can be used in so many ways.  Jodie is incredible artist!  I just love her peeker images and of course Deacon!  What is your favorite Bugaboo image?

When I saw this image I just had to make a tag with splashes everywhere!  I used the Lifestyle craft splashes dies to achieve the splash affect.

Anary image - Chef Gilli

This is my first time using an Anary image and I was given the Chef Gilli.  We cook a lot here at my house so I bet this image will get a lot of use.  What do you whip up with your kids?  Between the Luau food and the cupcakes,  I am really getting hungry.  :)

Hambo Hoedown - Bug card

Good Morning and Hello Everyone!

It is time for another Hambo Hoedown!  This week we were given a mosquito image and asked to make a monochromatic card!

Here is my take on this weeks challenge:

I stuck to shades of yellow to make it a bright and cheery card.  I love the Hambo images they are always so much fun to use.  You can join in on this challenge HERE!  What can you come up with using this image?

Designed 2 Delight's progressive challenge image for this week is a peacock.  You can really add some fun colors and textures with this image.

Here is my take using the peacock image:

I tried out a new way to make my own flowers using store bought flat flowers.  Love the dimension you get making them this way.

Hambo Hoedown - Relax card

I am joining in at the Hambo Hoedown today with my "Relax" card today.  The challenge was to make a gatefold card.  This is my first one ever!!  Yeah!  Now that I have tried one I think there will be many more in the future.

Surfing

Using new lifestyle craft dies I created this card.  The dies were much bigger than I thought they would be so my card is pretty large.  LOL  Whimsie Doodles put out some new images of Koale and Leah that I just love.  Koale's little bathing suit is just adorable with the little fish on it.

I am so excited this card won the Whimsie Doodles Challenge "Beach Themed Cards"!
