It must BEE someones birthday!

I made a birthday gift tag for someone special's birthday using a some odd girl image.

The some odd girl image I used is Bee Tia!  The Tia images are adorable.  It works perfectly with the saying and the little bee buttons don't you think?

I couldn't sleep the other night and made this tag around 2 am.  The ideas were just running around in my head, they just had to come out and I created this tag.  I just love to use K&Company tags and papers.  The designs are always so beautiful and work well with a lot of projects I am working on.  It made me so happy after this tag was completed that I had no problem going right to sleep.  There is nothing like creating something you feel is beautiful...

Take care... :)

Creative Card Crew - Homemade Flowers Challenge

Creative Card Crew's new challenge this fortnight is Homemade Flowers!

Our sponsor for this challenge is ...

My DT card for this challenge is:

This image used on this card is "Cabin in the woods" by Robyn's Fetish.

I used the silhouette to create the vine corner border and created my own handmade flower using several different dies from quickutz.  (sunflower die, sparkle die, sun die)  I cut the pieces out of white cardstock then colored each piece using copic markers so the flower would match the colors of the cabin.  Assembled them some scrunched and some clipped together to make my flower.

What dies or punches can you use to make your own handmade flower?

A cute little notebook

Hey Everyone!  I am not getting much crafting done today because chores are the order of the day.  We are almost ready for school to begin here.  How about you all?  Are you ready for the kiddos to be back at school?

I created little notebooks for the kids.  It will be perfect for writing notes back and forth with them.

I used an image from whimsie doodles to make this notebook.  Whimsie doodle images seem to be creeping into a lot of my work lately.  :)

Have a great day!

Paper Playtime - Anything Goes Challenge

There is another fun challenge happening over at Paper Playtime. Starting today we are running an
"anything goes" challenge sponsored by non other than Whimsie Doodles!

Melyssa from Whimsie Doodles creates incredible images that I really enjoy using on my projects.  If you have not had the chance to see her images you need to go over to her site and check them out Here.

Here is my card for this challenge:

For the image on my card, I used an image from the school goodies digital stamp set from Whimsie Doodles. This set has several fun images included in it.

I used an old sizzix die to make the little piece of red notebook paper.  I think it is too cute!  LOL!  For the design paper I found some hopscotch paper and cork paper which seemed to work perfectly for this back to school card.

An EK Success edge punch was used to create the spiral notebook edging on the orange polka dot paper.  Plus a few star stickers and of course and apple sticker.   You have to have apples on a back to school card don't you know.  :)

Head over to Paper Playtime and enter your project!

Whimsie Wednesday Color Challenge - Aqua, Orange and Lime Green

Whimsie Doodles is having a color challenge and I just love the colors they picked for this challenge!  Aqua, Orange and Lime Green are just lovely summer colors.

It was so much for me to use these color on my card.

In designing this card,  I wanted something clean and simple to show off the paper and the image.  So I choose to just add corner embellishments instead of covering the card with them.  I love the way it turned out.

Yeah!  This card won this Whimsie Doodles Aqua, Orange and Lime Green color challenge!

We were also given the hedgehog digital image.
I am not the best at using sketches so I hope you like my take on it.

I added dimension by popping up the little sentiment.

I love using Hambo images there is just something fun and happy about them.  You should check them out!
