Whale you be my Valentine?

Whale you be my Valentine?  I decided today to take down my New Year's decorations and put up my Valentine's Day decorations in the hopes that it would break the chain of constant snow days we have been getting.  We will see if it works.  It snowed all day but stopped this evening so maybe the change worked.  Fingers crossed.  I made a Valentines card today with a whimsie doodles stamp.

This card was made using the following copic markers :  W-0, W-1, W-3, B93, B95, B97.  Viva Decor pen red and white gel pen.

Shower of Love

We had a lot of fun today making Valentines cards the girls and I.  They made cards for their Moms and I made this card.  Red is such a lovely color so vibrant and happy.

I spent a lot of time planning the design of this card (LOL) but it came out well.  We are starting the march toward spring with Valentine's Day coming soon and now that we are moving away from the winter holidays.

Princess

I love all of the Sweet November digi stamps.  This stamp has fine details so I found this one hard to color with my copic markers so I ended up coloring her with my colored pencils instead.

Winter white

Good Morning all!
I found a challenge online that I found really intriguing so I just had to find a way to make it work.  The challenge was to make a card using all white except the colored image.  It did not seem like it would work but as you can see using this idea can make a beautiful card.

Try out this idea you will be surprised by what you can create using just one color.

You light up my life

The time of year is coming to let those closest to you know how much they mean to you.  I have decided this year that I am going to give my husband a love card everyday in February up to and including Valentine's Day.  He deserves the attention and recognition!

What are you doing this year to recognize the ones you love?

Sweet cat

What a sweet stamp from The Greeting Farm.  The cat set is just the cutest.  It reminds me of curling up for a nap on a cold winter day. Well with all the snow storms coming through the area I thought this stamp would be appropriate.

Keep warm!

January Wall Decoration

Good Morning...  I am one of those people that have decorations up for every month of the year.  Crazy huh?  Well it keeps me happy!  My latest project is a January decoration for my wall.  I have been wanting to make a January decoration for my front hall wall for a while now.  Just couldn't think of what I wanted to do.  What I came up with is what amounts to a framed winter scene or large winter card.  It is snowing outside today so a perfect day for a winter scene to hang on the wall.

I will be making a insert for the frame for every month.  Got to keep the decorations new and changing!  This frame is an old one I had hanging around the house.  So a very inexpensive decoration.  Do you decorate for every month?

This January Wall Decoration is featured on the Pink Cat Studio's blog!!  So cool.  To see the post click here.
